WhatsApp Share Location
We usually spend a lot of time explaining to someone the journey to a venue. With the use of WhatsApp, it is very easy to share your current location with us to facilitate our displacement.
Note: You have to make sure you are at the location before doing the below steps.
Share location on Android phone
- Open the chat window for the contact you want to send current location.
- Tap on the paper clip button from the message area to insert the map.
- Now tap on the Location icon.
- Select Send your current location under Nearby places.
That’s all. Now WhatsApp will send your current location link through the chat window. When the recipient opens the message and tap on the link, the location will display on the default Map application of the recipient.
Share location on iPhone phone
- Open WhatsApp Chat Window.
- Tap on “+ icon”.
- Tap on Send your current location.
- Proceed to Settings> Allow Location Access>Always
- Add Comment (Optional).
- Tap on Send.
